Thispresentation will focus on data-driven issues, topics, and methodologies acrossdifferent business school domains. The goal is to present the details of someongoing research in different domains and discuss new research ideas. Thepresentation will cover many topics such as Blockchain, Social Media Analytics,Healthcare Analytics, Omnichannel Retailing, Digital Advertising, ITManagement, Supply Chain Analytics, and Sustainability and HumanitarianOperations.

SubodhaKumar is the Paul R. Anderson Distinguished Chair Professor of Statistics,Operations, and Data Science and the Founding Director of the Center forBusiness Analytics and Disruptive Technologies at Temple University’s FoxSchool of Business. He has a secondary appointment in Information Systems. Healso serves as the Concentration Director for Ph.D. Program in Operations andSupply Chain Management. He is a board member for many organizations. China’sMinistry of Education has awarded him a Changjiang Scholars ChairProfessorship. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Indian School of Business(ISB). He has served on the University of Washington and Texas A&MUniversity faculty. He has been the keynote speaker and track/cluster chair atleading conferences. He was elected to become a Production and OperationsManagement Society (POMS) Fellow in 2019. He has received numerous otherresearch and teaching awards. He has published around 200 papers in reputedjournals and refereed conferences. He was ranked #1 worldwide for publishing inInformation Systems Research. In addition, he has authored two books, bookchapters, Harvard Business School cases, and Ivey Business School cases. Healso holds a robotics patent. He is routinely cited in different media outlets,including NBC, CBS, Fox, Business Week, and New York Post. He is the DeputyEditor of Production and Operations Management Journal and the FoundingExecutive Editor of Management and Business Review (MBR). He also serves onother editorial boards. He was the conference chair for POMS Annual Conference2018 and Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) Annual Conference 2018 and hasco-chaired several other conferences.
